We have all sorts of paint and watercolor paint at the apartment and Olivia wanted me to paint with her this day. It's always fun to act like a kid and color or paint even if I don't know what I'm doing.

Ashton had his braces taken off the end of February and he loved how smooth his teeth felt after. They did a glue in retainer on the top and bottom but after his top retainer came unglued twice they let him switch to a regular retainer that he wears at night. Now we just wait until he loses his baby teeth and is ready for phase II of braces. We'll also figure out at that time what to do about his missing teeth.

Olivia had been wanted to make slime for forever. We finally bought the supplies and the kids each made their own slime.

Ashton was home with me helping me get everything ready to make pizza's for dinner and he made this sign and put it out on the table by all the ingredients. It was really cute.

I couldn't figure out what this picture was and Olivia said it was a doctor holding a shot. I'm not sure if it's because she had recently had her kindergarten shots or not but apparently she wants to be a doctor when she grows up. At least for that moment. And she always draws the best hair when she draws people.

We went to the elementary school's Classic Skating night and the kids had fun riding their scooters and roller blades.

This girls hair grows so fast! Everyone thinks we've never cut it but we've had to or it would probably touch the floor!

She had a field trip to the Gateway Children's Museum and her friend Lahndon drove with us. Building the Lego cars was probably their favorite part.
Since St. Patrick's day was on a Saturday Olivia wore her "green" to school the day before. Walmart usually has colored hair for the holidays for less than a dollar so we added a strand of green to her braid.

They had a cute program that they sang in the leprechaun hats that they made.
There's always a path of gold coins for the kids to follow on St. Patrick's day and it usually leads to something yummy!

St. Patrick's day was also dance picture day in the morning. It was snowing and not the best weather that morning.

She wanted to sit on the start to have her picture taken.
Later we wanted to do something fun as a family and the kids picked bowling. I loved how eager the boys were to help Olivia when it was her turn. They're always sweet to her. Well, most of the time, Ashton and her have their moments. :)

Someone snuck into our bed and fell asleep while we were downstairs. She has said for years her bed isn't comfortable and she wants a new mattress. I think it's an excuse to be in our bed but maybe it's just not as comfortable, who knows.

She never tires of playing with Barbies. She really wants a Barbie Pizza Parlor set so she's hoping to get it for her birthday in October.

We went on a double date and tried out Top Golf for the first time. It was actually a lot of fun and even though I would either hit it really far or barely off the green, no in between we all had fun.

It was still not hot out, around 70 but Olivia had been begging to drag out the pool for a couple days. We finally let her have the hose on the slide and the trampoline. She of course didn't last long before she was cold like we told her she would be but she still had fun.
