If you don't have photoshop THIS a great website that you can edit your pictures with. It's not as indepth as photoshop (unless you pay to upgrade) but it lets you do quite a bit for free.

Here's a picture without editing.

Here are just a few of the effects you can do.

I thought some of these were funny.

Difference Between Women And Men

1.NAMES: If Laurie, Linda, Elizabeth and Barbara go out for lunch, they will call each other Laurie, Linda, Elizabeth and Barbara. If Mark, Chris, Eric and Tom go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla, Peanut-Head and Scrappy.

2.EATING OUT: When the bill arrives, Mark, Chris, Eric and Tom will each throw in a $20, even though it’s only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back. When the women get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

3.MONEY: A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs. A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn’t need, but it’s on sale.

4.BATHROOMS: A man has five items in his bathroom: a toothbrush, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel from the Marriott. The average number of items in the typical woman’s bathroom is 337. A man would not be able to identify most of these items.

5.ARGUMENTS: A woman has the last word in any argument. Anything a man says after that… is the beginning of a new argument.

6.CATS: Women love cats. Men say they love cats, but when women aren’t looking, men kick cats.

7.FUTURE: A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband. A man never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

8.SUCCESS: A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife canspend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man.

9.MARRIAGE: A woman marries a man expecting he will change, but he doesn’t. A man marries a woman expecting that she won’t change, and she does.

10.DRESSING UP: A woman will dress up to go shopping, water the plants, empty the garbage, answer the phone, read a book, and get the mail. A man will dress up for weddings and funerals.

11.NATURAL: Men wake up as good-looking as they went to bed. Women somehow deteriorate during the night.

12.OFFSPRING: Ah, children. A woman knows all about her children. She knows about dentist appointments and romances, best friends, favorite foods, secret fears and hopes and dreams. A man is vaguely aware of some short people living in the house.

13.THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Any married man should forget his mistakes. There’s no use in two people remembering the same thing.

I stumbled upon this picture of my brother on one of his friends blogs. I know my mom would like to see it so I thought I would post it. Isn't he so cute. He's on the far left. This was at their prince charming assembly a couple of months ago.

Just An All Around Good Day (and it's only 3:20!)

This is how Ashton fell asleep last night. He must have been praying for a good nights sleep because finally at 3 months old he slept for 6 hours straight! (I think it's actually an answer to mommy and daddy's prayers) I was so excited to see 4:22am on the alarm clock. So hopefully the pattern continues.
And then my aunt brought Kaleb home from preschool and although my birthday isn't until tomorrow she took him to Wal-mart to pick me out something. He came in the door and yelled Happy Birthday and wanted me to open it right away. My aunt said that he picked it out all by himself. She just followed him around Wal-mart a couple of times until he found what he wanted. First he looked through the food section, then she said he told her it was by the underwear. Kaleb kept telling her he wanted to get me a white circle. She had no idea what he was talking about. Matt had asked Kaleb earlier this week what he should get mom for her birthday and Kaleb told him a bracelet so I'm guessing that's what Kaleb was searching for. After trying to decide between a pearl necklace and this silver one he picked the silver circle necklace.

A couple of months ago I found this website (through someone else's blog of course) and it has free fonts that you can download. I love using them. One of the fonts is used in my header for "family; est. 2003; Matt April Kaleb Ashton". The website is www.kevinandamanda.com and you click on FONTS. There are Fonts for Peas which are people's handwriting that she's turned into fonts and also lots of scrapbooking fonts.

I really enjoyed this talk from Elder M. Russell Ballard for young mothers. Here's his TALK from General Conference.
I love this warm weather. Yesterday it was 72 and today is going to be even warmer. I had to take a picture of Ashton in this shirt that Melanie and Matt gave him. I love the western shirts. So I'm officially the YW's president. We have 5 girls so it's just a small group which will be nice with girls camp coming up in June.

Customize Your Blog

To customize your blog here's the easiest way I've found. These instructions (along with other templates) are from matiekay.blogspot.com. Just follow these instructions for a 3 column blog. It's really fast and easy. Then after you've done this when you view your layout in the html you can find the 4 url picture links (background, post background, and 2 header backgrounds) and change them to whatever you want. (I upload what I want to photobucket and use the Direct link) The best website for paper/embellishments for me is shabbyprincess.com and they have a bunch of kits to download for free.

*Remember you can change the font colors to your liking by clicking template then click the tab font and colors.
* Also I added a bunch of page elements hoping to cover every ones wide range of sidebar elements. You might notice when you sign in blogger and click on dashboard that there is a lot of elements. You can edit or delete those if you want (at least the ones you aren't using:) Sorry for the inconvenience it may cause some of you but hopefully it will help. One more thing it will most likely rearrange the way you had your elements so just rearrange them and you'll be good to go.

STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS TO APPLY LAYOUT:

Log into your blogger account and go to your dashboard.
Click on Layout in the right hand corner of the blog which you want to apply the template.
Go to Pick New Template
Choose Minima
Click Save Template
Go to Edit HTML
Delete all of the HTML
Go to: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dk8xhn3_62d7qrkq
Copy all of the HTML (don't copy the small blue text at the bottom under the line)
Paste the HTML
Click Save Template
That's it!

To do the custom header it gets a little more complicated but not much. I just use Roxio (a photo editing software) but you can also use Adobephotoshop. I create a "picture" using all of the papers, photos, embellishments and then add that picture to the top of my blog, not as a header but as a picture.

Bath Time and 2 Month Appointment

Ashton loves taking a bath. Today Matt took him to his 2 month appointment and he has gone from weighing 6lbs. 8oz. at his 1 month appointment to 12lbs. 4oz. today. So he's not under the 5th percentile anymore he's right at the 50th percentile. Although Ashton only weighs 1/3 of what Kaleb does he looks really big when sitting on his lap.
