Fall Pictures

Saturday we went over to duck pond park (not sure what the park is really called) and we took some pictures for our Christmas card. We just used our tripod and camera and so without someone actually taking the picture there was no one to tell Kaleb to smile or keep him focused on the camera. It was definitely hard to get a good picture.

I'm excited for Thanksgiving this week. I love turkey and especially leftover turkey sandwiches. Kaleb can't wait for Christmas. He is all about Bumblebee from Transformers. I keep telling him to ask Santa to bring it for him. I don't think he understands what I'm saying though. He can see some of the presents for other people up in our closet and so he thinks that they're all for him even though I keep assuring him they aren't for him and that Santa brings his presents. Kids are funny!

Trick-or-Treat

Kaleb was "Parker the Pirate" for Halloween this year. He tried to add "pirate" into his full name but he kept calling himself Parker the Pirate and it stuck. He loved dressing up in his costume. Saturday we took Kaleb to the community college where my sister attends for a Halloween Carnival. He won cupcakes at a cakewalk and he loved the donut eating contest.

Saturday night we had a party with all of our friends and their kids. Tuesday was the trunk-or-treat and Kaleb left with a big bag of candy. Wednesday morning he had a party at preschool and then we went trick-or-treating that night. Kaleb isn't a chocolate person and so most of the candy he could care less about but the gum and suckers are his favorite.
Matt dressed up as Clark Kent and I dressed up as a black cat. I didn't dress up on Halloween just for our party on Saturday. Kaleb took these two pictures. He is obsessed with the camera lately and loves taking pictures. Kaleb is already asking when he gets to go trick-or-treating again!

Here's video of Kaleb trying to eat the donut.
