January 2016

Olivia was making a mess enjoying her sucker.

January 1, 2016

I was finally able to get in and out of bed easier so Matt set our bed frame back up instead of the one we were temporarily using. Olivia enjoyed getting in the way!

January 2, 2016

On Eli's birthday we all went up to the cemetery to sing to him.

January 4, 2016

We decided to spend the weekend at the cabin. It was really pretty with all the snow.

January 9, 2016

The kids enjoy that we always have big breakfasts at the cabin.

January 10, 2016

We enjoyed some sledding and snowmobiling. I mostly stayed in the cabin because of my hip.

The boys were trying on their winter gear for a scout campout and thought they were ninja's.

January 14, 2016

Ashton wanted German Chocolate Brownies for his cake this year. I tried to make it look like Chewbacca with his sash. I can't believe he's 8 years old!

January 17, 2016

Olivia loves to help open presents. (And she's in a painting shirt since she's always painting something at my aunts.)

I love looking through different school assignments especially if it involves drawing. Kaleb is a pretty good artist, better than me. My favorite part is where he made sure the teacher knew he didn't trace it. :)

One tired girl!

January 21, 2016

I'm not much of a selfie taker but this girl is always wanting to take pictures of us so there definitely isn't a shortage of selfies on my phone now.

January 23, 2016

The 11 year olds can go on any scout trips as long as they have a parent with them so Matt went with the group snow caving at Strawberry. That didn't sound fun to me but they had a blast.

January 23, 2016

We had extended family pictures taken at Camera Shy. Thankfully most of the kids cooperated.

January 23, 2016

Occasionally Matt gets last minute free Jazz tickets from work so we took advantage and went to the game. We had to bribe Olivia halfway through as she wasn't a big fan of sitting there.

January 25, 2016

We had Ashton's birthday party at Laser Quest and they cover the birthday kid in toilet paper with a  toilet paper gun. The boys all thought that was pretty awesome.

January 27, 2016

It was nice having the party somewhere else instead of at our house and the kids loved it.

Next up was the pinewood derby. Ashton had fun making and racing his car.

January 28, 2016

The kids love to help shovel and I'm all for it. Especially since with my hip I couldn't go out and do it yet. They're always great helpers!
