Memorial Day weekend we went with some friends down to St. George. They have some friends down there that were sweet to take us all out boating one day and also had us over for dinner.

September 1, 2019 

The night before we left as we were packing Olivia decided to climb in a laundry hamper half way up the stairs to the basement and "ride" down. Although this was just a collapsable one and not really one you can ride so she tried to break her fall with her right arm and ended up with a buckle fracture in her arm. We debated whether or not to take her in but she was in so much pain and I'm glad we did.

We had fun jumping off of this rock but when I jumped I had a life jacket on which I think stopping me from going in the water made the water pressure greater on my ears and I immediately knew something was wrong with my left ear. I just tried to ignore it even though it really hurt and it was plugged up.

The kids had so much fun on all of the tubes. They were in heaven and it was so fun to watch them get kicked off the tubes.

Olivia tried a slow ride on the tube once but with her arm she wasn't up for doing too much.

There was a pretty sky that night after we got back to our hotel.

The kids swam in the hotel pool that night and were pretty exhausted when they went to bed.

I knew something was still wrong with my ear that night when I could plug my nose and breath out my ear. I could hear the water inside my ear bubbling as I'd breath out. Weirdest thing ever just like in the cartoons.

The Taylors hosted us all again to swim and have a barbecue at their house. It was a quick getaway but we had a lot of fun.

We couldn't keep up with all the fruit on our trees. We eventually had to fill up boxes and storage totes and took them to neighbors, family and my parents took a bunch to their Spanish ward for anyone that wanted them.

I love our nectarine tree it's a white flesh super sweet variety.

Olivia's favorite part of soccer is just being with her friends. She's still there more for the social aspect but does a good job when she wants to. :)

My parents were on a cruise with their friends so my sister was staying at their house. Matt and I picked up her Ikea kitchen order filling my car to the top and spent the next day getting about half of the cabinets put together and up on the rails on the wall. I wish we had a before but her cabinets were really short so this added about 10 inches more cabinets space since we ran them to the ceiling plus we added an extra small cabinet after the stove. Much more functional overall.

Olivia loves the school carnival. It's fun for the kids to be able to run round to the different stations and parents can kind of just sit back and supervise while they all play together.

September 9, 2019

This poor branch on our tree had finally had it and couldn't hold the weight anymore. It was after this we picked the fruit off so that we didn't lose more branches as the fruit kept growing.

We were getting closer. My parents were back to they helped us put doors on the uppers and we hung all the lower cabinets. It went slower with cutting out for plumbing and making sure everything was level but it was coming along.

I'm going to do a seperate Hawaii post but Matt and I spent the next week in Hawaii and my sister and parents took great care of the kids while we were gone.

Olivia had school pictures so my mom went early to curl her hair for her.

Ashton was ready for picture day too!

Their pictures turned out great. I always wish sometimes photographers would put a little more effort like pulling Olivia's hair forward, etc. but I know it's just luck of who you have taking their picture so I was happy with their cute smiles.

Sweet Gabe was able to be sealed to Liz and Logan in the temple. There is an approval process needed and from what we were told it came back really quickly from the church and that was so neat to see. The temple president is my old stake president and he thought it would be neat for me to help hold Gabe while he was sealed to them. It was a special experience and we were happy to be a part of it.
