Camping Trip July 17-19

Camping was a blast! It was a much needed break from everything. We had good food, awesome smores (PB Cup, marshmallow and fudge striped cookies) and lots of chatting by the campfire. And the boys loved getting dirty. Almost every picture I took they have dirt on their face. (We did cut Ashton's "bangs" in Colorado the next week.)

There was a big rock in our campsite that Kaleb loved climbing.

While the girls cooked dinner Kaleb and Matt hiked to Donut Falls. I told Matt to be sure to take pictures and he didn't disappoint. I think he took about 130, I wasn't expecting that!

Hopefully this becomes an annual tradition!

Catch Up

I know, this is my 3rd post tonight and I should go to bed but I don't seem to find time during the week to blog and we're going camping (Wahoo!) and to Colorado soon so the next couple of weeks are going to be crazy. (Oh, and all of our fish died from getting Ich, maybe we'll get lucky with #5!)

The 4th of July was fun. It started with the parade, we saw Ice Age 2 and then a BBQ and fireworks.

You'll notice Shawn Bradley from the NBA on the right (he's a regular around Murray) but that's not why I took the picture. See an advertisement here? (It was a LONG parade)

My mom was a good sport to make sure Kaleb and Ashton were in on the candy action.

And T-Ball is officially over. Kaleb had so much fun playing. We've already signed him up for soccer in the fall. By the end of the season they were doing coach pitch and most of the time he was able to hit the ball.

My $5 Chair

Friday night I found this chair at D.I. for $5. I love the style and the rust color goes perfect with the colors in my living room. We had a couple of minutes before we had to leave for church so I took some pictures of the boys in the chair.

I know the next 2 pictures are almost identical but I wasn't sure which I liked better. Do you like the white fading on the bottom of the 2nd one or not?

Kaleb's 5 Year Pictures and Ashton's 18 Month Pictures

We took Kaleb a couple of weeks ago for his 5 yr. pictures. Since my coupon had no sitting fee's we decided to do Ashton's 18 month pictures while we were there. (Even though he wasn't quite 18 months) We weren't planning on taking his pictures so Matt bought a white polo that would match better with Kaleb's outfit. These are scanned so not the best quality. Ashton still doesn't like going to the studio for pictures so he was a bit of a struggle but at least we had a couple of good poses.
