26 c. flour + 25 sticks (8 1/4 lbs) butter + 52 eggs + 12 lbs. (48 c.) powdered sugar + 15 lbs. fondant + other ingredients = 1 wedding cakeI made my first wedding cake. It's a lot of work and a lot of ingredients but I had a lot of fun doing it. I had a lot of trouble getting the fondant to lay right on the cake without creasing or tearing. Come to find out I was rolling it too thin and it was a little too dry. Hopefully the next one will work better because I get to do this again next week. It's another 3 tiered round cake so it will look about like this one with different designs and color schemes.

My cousin Christina got married this weekend and Kaleb was the ring bearer and he looked so handsome in his tux. (I can't say cute because Kaleb says cute is only for girls)
Kaleb loved the Chicken Dance & The Boot Scoot N Boogie. Ashton danced from the comfort of the chair he was holding onto. He still isn't up for walking just yet.

I was going to post this about 3 weeks ago when it actually happened but of course that didn't happen. Kaleb had a field trip to the fire station. He loved trying on all of the gear. The fire fighter in the picture has tattoo's and Kaleb had one on his lower back so he went up and lifted up his shirt and said, "Look, I have a tattoo too!" He was so proud to show it off but I explained that the firefighters don't just wash off the way his does.
